The Route
Our 7-hour buggy bike self-drive safari tour starts at Latchi where we get the road to the traditional village of Neo Chorio. Then, we move on to Smigies to explore the mesmerizing natural trail where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the local flora while enjoying breathtaking views of the Akamas peninsula coastline.
Our next stop is Lara Bay and the Turtle Bay where we have an hour swim. There we get information about the hatching and conservation of green and loggerhead turtles. Then, we move on to explore the beautiful Akamas Forest and as we drive by the phenomenal trail we can explore the flora and fauna of the peninsula.
Our next stop is the legendary Blue Lagoon. During this 1hr swim stop, you can enjoy the cold, translucent, turquoise waters and let your worries drift away amidst the picturesque surroundings. Whether you want to swim, relax or admire the beauty of this natural wonder, you will definitely feel like you are in a postcard-perfect setting.
Our last stop before heading back to Latchi is the Baths of Aphrodite. This stop offers the opportunity to witness an impressive natural grotto where the Goddess of love and beauty used to bathe. There we can also learn about the different plants and trees that exist in the botanical garden.
